Senior Quality Engineer

Timing: Full time

We are looking for a results-oriented QA engineer who demonstrates excellent problem-solving communication skills and loves identifying and tracing complex issues. This candidate must be a self-starter and a strong team player with at least three years in increasingly challenging assignments.

Primary responsibilities

  • Ability to implement and or build a QA automation suite
  •  Ability to implement a test case and end to end test framework
  • Ability to capture and interpret user session data for various workflows in production and non-production environments
  • Ability to review source code change and create test strategy accordingly
  • Safeguard and maintain the quality of InfoArmor product and business applications
  • Create test plans and test cases
  • Lead bug triage and root cause analysis
  • Generate well-documented bug reports using Confluence and Jira
  • Communicate effectively with developers regarding your findings
  • Plan and perform functional, load, and performance testing
  • Provide valuable inputs when reviewing requirement documents and technical specifications
  • Implement best practices for testing automations
  • Think outside the box to identify potential problems and increase coverage for testing framework

Skills and experience

  • 5+ years of commercial or enterprise application testing experience including: test execution, testing analysis, and test case design, etc
  • BS degree in computer science or related field, Master’s degree a plus
  • A proven track record of testing distributed applications
  • Prior experience testing for web-based or SaaS applications
  • Familiar with the agile process, working with a Scrum Master, quality estimate, QA testing process, and tools
  • Proficiency with SQL, and basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (i.e. PHP or Perl)
  • Experience setting up Linux-based environments and utilizing automated testing tools and open source tools (ie Selenium, Test NG, Apache, etc.)
  • Ensure compatibility with new testing automation for different products
  • Experience with performance testing and pressure testing
  • Experience working with open source software
  • Experience with automated testing in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) environments
  • Experience testing in a distributed environment
