HR Executive Magazine’s Carol Patton forecasts up and coming “nontraditional” voluntary benefit offerings, such as InfoArmor’s identity theft protection, to offer employees new robust benefits. According to the article, companies are exploring benefits outside of the traditional medical and dental to help retain employees.
“Take identity theft, which claimed 16.6 million victims in 2012, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Of those, the DOJ reveals that 29 percent spent a month or more resolving problems and 14 percent experienced out-of-pocket losses. Not surprisingly, company sales at InfoArmor have doubled each year since 2011 in the employee-benefits channel, partly because employers want to prevent productivity loss….”
